Summer Play Dates at Graham Hill Elementary!
Next year's incoming Graham Hill students and families recently received their
assignment letters. One way we are able to ease their transition is by hosting
summer play dates where the students and parents can start to build
relationships with existing families.
Play dates will be held at the lower playfield at Graham Hill in the morning and
evening on the following days:
- Tuesday, July 13th @ 9:30 a.m. & 6:30 p.m.
- Thursday, July 22nd @ 9:30 a.m. & 6:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, August 3rd @ 9:30 a.m. & 6:30 p.m.
- Thursday August 12th @ 9:30 a.m. & 6:30 p.m.
(Please note that no restroom facilities will be available for the play dates,
so plan accordingly.)
We need some current families to host these play dates. Hosting is really
simple, it basically just consists of showing up at the playground and making
anyone who shows up feel welcome. Please contact me if you are willing to host
any of these days or times.

**Graham Hill at the Columbia City Farmers Market! **
Graham Hill is going to be hosting the Kid's Tent at the Columbia City Farmers
Market on Wednesday, June 9th from 3 to 6pm. This is a great opportunity for
our school to connect with our community.
We are going to be helping kids create tissue paper flowers and handing out
seeds from our greenhouse program.
We are in need of the following supplies:
- Tissue paper
- Pipe cleaners
- Paper clips
If you have any of these items to donate, please let me know.
The other thing we need are volunteers to work the tent, which consists simply
of demonstrating the craft to kids and helping them get started. Students and
parents are both encouraged to volunteer. Any amount of time you can spare is
appreciated. We need to be there to set up by 2:30 and the tent needs to be
cleaned up by 6pm.
