Schools of Distinction 2007
October 10, 2007
Graham Hill Elementary was named a ``School of Distinction" by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) for dramatic improvements in student reading and mathematics over the past several years. Graham Hill is one of just 6 schools in the district and 86 schools statewide to have received this honor.
Awards go to the top 5 percent of elementary, middle and high schools whose students have shown progress in both reading and mathematics skills over a six-year period. The top 5 percent of schools this year includes 51 elementary schools, 20 middle schools and 15 high schools.
