Math: Complete practice pages. The missing fractions are 6/8 and 3/5…sorry about that.
Reading:
• Comprehension worksheets: Read and answer attached questions.
• Silent reading: Students should be reading at least 20 minutes a night. Students should be taking home one book at their level every night from the classroom library to read at home.
Spelling: Cut out the words and practice sorting and spelling these words every night at home.
Grammar: Complete adjectives practice page. Remember, adjectives are words that describe a person, place or thing!
Hi families! Here’s the news:
• We are beginning our poetry unit this week. Students will be reading and discussing many poems so they can be ready to begin writing poetry next week. Please go to the library and read poetry with your child this week. Maybe you could use that as your 20 minutes each night of reading!
• We will be finished with our science Rocks and Minerals unit this Friday. Great work scientists!
• Feel free to write, email, or call with any questions. I check my email until 9:00 pm every night.
