Parents make the school year work. Please consider volunteering for a job or two. If two parents volunteer for each job, everything will be covered, and we will all benefit!
• Room Parent: as needed to help get out phone messages to all the class members.
• Work in the classroom on a regular basis: (preferably weekly).
• Work on projects that are sent home, (as needed).
• Field trip chaperones: (Frequently during the year)
• Gardening coordinator: We have a garden plot outside the Montessori classrooms. It would be nice to have a parent who is able to take a small group of students out for tending our plot. It will be especially important during the preparation and planting time.
• Grant Writer: Help us raise the money to purchase materials and plants for our garden plot and help us raise money to buy the Montessori materials missing in our classroom.
• Audubon volunteers—This is for four Fridays in the fall and four Fridays in the spring. Training will be provided.
