Graham Hill Elementary

Graham Hill Elementary is a public school located in SE Seattle. In the Spring of 2010, we launched our garden program. Five classes ranging from Pre – K through 5th Grade participated, learning about seeds, beneficial insects and how to attract them, native plants and propagation, and how to grow fruits and vegetables. This was done with the help of parent volunteers, as well as members of the Native Plant Society and the Seward Park Audubon Center. This Fall we hope to double the number of classes participating, reaching more students and putting them in touch with the natural world.
