Proposed 2008-09 PTA Budget
Here is a condensed version of the 2008-09 budget for your review. Adoption of this budget will be voted on at the PTA meeting on Friday, June 13 at 6pm.
This budget includes funding for three new funding requests the PTA received from the staff: Powerful Writers, additional tutors and transportation to allow participation in after-school activities.
There is also an additional fundraising line item of $18,000 to help offset the cost of these new programs. This additional fundraising is yet to be determined. It may come from a new fundraising event, charitable grants, more focus on existing fundraisers, or a combination of all of these.
